Gallup Flying Service, Inc. was purchased in 1976 by T.J. Sheppard III.  At that time we were  operating under FAA Part 135, utilizing Cessna 206 and 210's to provide transportation for dialysis patients from small, dirt reservation airstrips to Albuquerque, NM for their treatments. Today, Gallup Flying Service, Inc. flies mostly twin engine pressurized aircraft with diverse missions, from flying air ambulance to flying for the U.S. Forest Service and air charter throughout the United States.  We employee eight full time pilots.  We also offer flight instructions in a Cessna 172.

Gallup Flying Service, Inc. is also a full-service Fixed Based Operator.  Our hours of operation are 0600 to 2130.  We provide aviation fuels (100LL and Jet A50), maintenance shop (we are a Cessna single engine service center) and have hangar space available for transient aircraft plus tie-down service.  Gallup Flying Service, Inc. is an independent Car Rental offering cars at a reasonable price for our flying public. A flight crew car is available for pilots who just need to get away for a quick lunch.  Gallup Flying Service, Inc. is also a Federal Express drop center.
